The Club meets
at 8.00pm on the first Wednesday of every month at:
Swan House
- Challenger TAFE
Heathcote Cultural Centre
58 - 60 Duncraig Road
Applecross WA 6156
The carpark at
Heathcote is also the Club Carpark where walk participants
meet to carpool to the beginning of the activity. Unless
the walk leader specifies an alternative location, always
gather here at the nominated time.
Typically the first
meeting of the year is a barbecue at a local metropolitan
park, and the last meeting of the year is the annual Christmas
party.

Each meeting consists of a short address by the President
followed by discussion on any points members wish to
raise. (The meeting typically has no legal significance
as there is no quorum and no motions on notice, however
all committees are interested in opinion from members
about club matters and are strongly influenced by any
discussion.)
The meeting is concluded by a guest speaker on matters of interest to bushwalkers and
bushwalking, followed by tea and coffee and more informal discussion. The
programme for each meeting is advertised in advance in the Club's newsletter.
The Club usually holds its Annual General
Meeting in May each year, and the major business is typically
the election of a committee to manage the club's affairs
for the next 12 months. This committee meets a minimum
of four times per year, and actually much more often than
that. Committee meetings are open to interested Club members
to attend, and committee agendas and minutes are published
in the "Member's Area" of the Club's website. See Club
